Cookie policy
Last updated 20 July 2026.
The honest summary: MorisBook uses only the cookies needed to keep you logged in — nothing for advertising or tracking.
What cookies are
- Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They can be essential (making login work) or non-essential (advertising, analytics, tracking).
The cookies we use
- Authentication cookies: keep you signed in to your MorisBook account between pages. Set only when you log in; deleted when you log out or your session expires.
- That's the whole list. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party marketing cookies of any kind.
- Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, no cookie consent banner is required under the Data Protection Act 2017 — consent is only needed for non-essential cookies, which we don't use.
The mobile app
- The MorisBook app does not use cookies. It stores your login session and your recently-viewed businesses on your device only, and a push notification token if you enable notifications — covered in our Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
- You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking our authentication cookies means you won't be able to stay logged in.
- If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
